Flute Gallery

As a third-semester student at Berklee College of Music, Angelina is earning her B.M in Flute Performance (Expected Graduation: 05/2027). She is involved in many ensembles, including the Berklee Motion Picture Orchestra, which is Berklee's largest student-run ensemble (Flute/Piccolo). She also does recording sessions/collaborations with many other students at the school.

10/10/24: Sophie Atlas: "The Smell of Growing Old"

Angelina got the opportunity to play Flute for a few arrangements of original songs by singer/songwriter Sophie Atlas.

8/18/24: Piccolo Solo from "Sing Out, Earth and Skies" by Marty Haugen

Performed at Our Lady of the Woods Catholic Church, where Angelina volunteered this summer as a Flautist. The piccolo solo shown in the video was transcribed by ear and performed at two masses.

5/7/24: Berklee Symphonic Winds at the Berklee Performance Center

Angelina made her BPC Debut this Spring with the Berklee Symphonic Winds Ensemble, where she performed as a Flautist. This video shows their performance of "Western Sunsets".

Resume/Experience

Training

Angelina has been playing the Flute since 2015, where she started in her Elementary School's "5th Grade Band" Program.

  • 2016-2018: Grosse Ile Middle School Band
  • 2018-2019: Boyd Arthur's Middle School Music Program
  • 2019-2023: Trenton High School Music Program


Angelina is currently pursuing her Bachelor's in Music in Flute Performance at Berklee College of Music. 

She is also double-minoring in Musical Theater Performance and Contemporary Writing.

  • 2023-2024: Anne Drummond (Private Instruction)
  • 2024-Present: Wendy Rolfe (Private Instruction and Recital Preparation Courses)
  • 2024: Participated in "The Art of Interpretation", a Masterclass at the annual Boston Flute Festival with Sarah Brady, Boston Conservatory Faculty Member. Angelina also sat in on many other presentations with guests artists and presenters, including a masterclass by Lorna McGhee (Principal Flute, Boston Symphony Orchestra).


Over the Spring Semester (January-May 2025), Angelina has plans to participate in Berklee's "Study Abroad" Program in Valencia, Spain.

  • 2018 and 2022: Received the highest score attainable for a Flute Solo (I) in the 2022 Southeastern Michigan Solo & Ensemble Festival. 
  • 2023-2024: Berklee College of Music, Awarded a place on the Dean's List for High Academic Achievement
